Beautifully decorated inside & out. Friendly staff. Really lovely, helpful waitress. We enjoyed our steak on volcanic stone. Came with a good portion of chips & salad. Steak melted in our mouths, tasted amazing with our choices of salt, butter & sauces. Will definitely return.
A fantastic experience from start-to-finish. Fantastic cuts of meat, well presented with the volcanic hot stones. The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly polite and attentive without being pushy. The food was well priced, as were the wines. The tables are well spaced inside, with a modern and bright decor.
Beautifully decorated inside just one small detail is that there is smog in the room because you cook yourself the steak in the table but if you don't mind this is the perfect place to have the perfect steak. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our steak on volcanic stone. Steak melted in our mouths, tasted amazing Our choices were sea salt, garlic butter & peppercorn sauce. Will definitely return.

The outdoor seating area was under cover and had garden heaters. The meal was ordered by scanning the QR code and then ordering online. The food came really quickly and tasted amazing. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend.Sunday roast, perfectly cooked, well presented and great portion sizes. Staff took time to answer questions and were really attentive but not overly so. Will definitely be back here. Great ambience, soft music in the background, lovely decor and importantly comfy seating. This is a real find. Thoroughly recommend this place.
What a place. Family outing for a birthday. Friendly and helpful staff. Always asking if we needed anything. The food and the experience of the volcanic stone was excellent. I strongly recommend the White Choclate sauce for your steak ( Different but delicious)

The Volcanic stone experience was fantastic. The three cuts of steak were great, very tender. It was the best steak meal we have had for a long time. We will be coming back in the near future. Thank you.

Great place for a visit. Good atmosphere, small family run business. The size of the portions is great value and the Wagu Burgers are big and Juicey. The flat breads are huge, my family ended up taking some home for later. Will be back again.

We can not believe we only found out you excisted. We have already plans to try your Pizzas as a take away soon and we'll be back for another steak for my birthday in a few weeks time. The dough was both wonderful and fresh and the sauces were delicious. We will definitely return again.
If you visit, it’s definitely worth going to see the pigs. It was an extra special treat to stroke them after dinner and spend some time looking at the amazing animals.
We ate here on the best day of May 2021, and COVID restrictions are still in place. The online ordering system is okay and works, but it isn’t perfect. My wife wanted a special type of tonic with her gin, which wasn’t on the menu, so we had to leave a note. Not a difficultly really, but it’s an extra step. And not the fault of the restaurant really either. Everyone is still trying to work out how to navigate the world in a post lockdown environment.
When we ate here, it was between 17:00 and 19:00 and it wasn’t very busy at all. However, don’t let that put you off, this place is a hidden gem.
I’m glad we found it, and I look forward to our next booking.A chance visit while passing foxton in the canal. Sitting outside is a lovely setting and the warm welcome from the owners was appreciated. Truly excellent steaks and the whole concept works well as something a bit different while not detracting from the fact that the food itself is excellent.
A stake lover's paradise one of the best stakes I have ever had in my world wide travels Had 2 more visits, tried the Tuna, fantastic, then the next visit I tried the pizza, not a big fan of pizzas but here it was great, the best pizza I have ever had. I believe in quality and a fair price, here you get both.
We ate at the Hogget on the Friday and Saturday evening as we were staying in the accommodations there . Both meals were very good ,I would recommend the volcanic steak dishes especially .

I ate here to celebrate my birthday and I ordered the white chocolate with chili salt and garlic and herb butter and I will say, it's the best steak I've ever eaten and will definitely be going back.
